King Dasaratha ruled Ayodhya. He had 3 Queens: Kousalya, Kaikeyi & Sumithra, & 4 sons: Rama, Lakshmana , Bharatha & Shatrughna. Rama became a King also. Queen Kaikeyi wanted her son Bharatha to be the King. He became the King & Rama & his wife Sita & his younger brother Lakshmana, went to live in the Aaranya (forest) for 14 yrs. Things changed & Bharatha stepped down & he went with all of them to live in the forest Panchavati. Surpanaka wanted marry Lakshmana. Surpanaka went to the town of Lanka (Shrilanka) & complained to her brother Ravana (10 headed demon king). Ravana plans on kidnapping Sita. Ravana ask for Mareecha (mayavi, magical tricks, deer) for his help. The delightful tale continues.
Cool book cover, awesome pictures, great font & writing style. A very well written Hindu mythological short story (book). It was very easy to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. No grammar errors, repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could make a great religious ethnic movie or mini TV series. No doubt in my mind a very easy rating of 5 stars for this short story (book).
Thank you for the free short story (book)
